Continuing with HMS Victory scratch build.

Beak carving.

Carronades were used in her forecastle where weight was a limiting factor.

These 32 pounders weighed over 7,500 pounds each.

Imagine over 30 of these being fired.

The ships Binnacle served to protect the two ships two compass's from the weather.

Her famous transom completed.

Skipping ahead many weeks.

Progress has been great during the cold winter months with very little else to occupy me in my full retirement.
